Turning Point

Turning Point is a batterer’s intervention program that uses group counseling and education to help abusive men change. Scripture teaches us that sin comes from the desires of the heart (Mark 7:21-23). Abuse stems from a desire for control and a sense of entitlement. Turning Point focuses on changing these underlying heart attitudes using the power and control wheel model to produce changed behavior. We believe it is possible for abusive men to change, and a group oriented model is the most effective approach.

Turning Point is a 40-week program.
